Artist Statement: “The artistic movement of Neo-Plasticism fascinates me. In this style, the artistic expression is reduced to the simplest forms of straight lines and squares and the use of colour is limited to the primary colours. It’s the purest form of abstraction. In the Mondrian series, I portray Mondrian’s abstraction using tangible objects like spaghetti, beads, flowers and Lego. These objects become a paradox within the image of concrete and abstract art.”
